9) Warranty

Warranty options are available as free from the manufacturer or upgraded add-ons when purchasing eligible machines. Please refer to the machine warranty information for full details of coverage.

Warranties provided by Auros Coffee Ltd T/A Zilva Coffee Co. apply to specific goods delivered to UK mainland addresses and are based on the option selected at the time of purchase. These are in addition to any standard manufacturer warranties. All our machine warranties begin on the date of delivery, provided the equipment has been correctly installed, serviced, and maintained according to the manufacturer’s guidelines and used appropriately.

Products sold with a “return to base” warranty require the customer to return the goods to an authorised repair centre and arrange collection after repair. We can arrange collection and redelivery using trusted couriers, but this will be at the customer’s expense.

Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or use for purposes other than those intended by the manufacturer. Any negligence or incorrect use will void the warranty. No refunds will be issued for add-on warranties that become invalid for these reasons.

If a fault is found to be covered under warranty (subject to the terms), we will arrange for repair either on-site or at an authorised repair centre, depending on the selected warranty option.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is registered to the delivery address on the order. It is non-transferable.

Warranties are void if goods have been altered, damaged, misused, disassembled, or if seals have been broken. They are also invalid in cases of damage from smoke, fire, water, limescale, or other specified causes.

Manufacturer warranties are as stated by the relevant manufacturer. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

10) Warranty Inspections

You must notify us as soon as possible after becoming aware of any defect or failure, and in any event before the warranty expires. We will not accept responsibility for defects reported after the warranty period has ended.

We will arrange for an authorised engineer to inspect the equipment within 7 days of notification. Inspections will normally take place between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend or out-of-hours visits may be possible by arrangement and at additional cost.

The engineer will determine whether the issue is covered by the warranty. If it is not covered, you will be responsible for the call-out fee. If you instruct the engineer to proceed with repairs, you will also be responsible for all parts and labour costs.

We reserve the right to request a deposit of £150 + VAT (via debit/credit card or other payment) before arranging an inspection. This will be refunded if the fault is covered by warranty; otherwise, it will be retained.

If the fault is covered, we will repair or replace the equipment at our discretion.

All warranty repairs must be carried out by engineers authorised by us. Any work by unauthorised parties will immediately invalidate the warranty.

This extended warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser at the registered delivery address.

We will not accept liability for any consequential losses, including loss of business, profits, or goods, arising from any defect or failure.

Warranty and maintenance cover does not include issues caused by abuse, misuse, negligence, or failure to clean and maintain the equipment.

We accept no liability for call-out or repair charges where no fault is found or where the issue is not covered by warranty.

Our liability under this warranty is limited to the scope of the warranty provided to us by the manufacturer.

11) Machine Installation

Installation services are available as optional add-ons. Please refer to the relevant product page for details of what is included.

Installation coverage is limited to UK mainland addresses (with some restrictions). An installation can take up to 14 days to arrange, depending on location, machine type, and requirements. The premises must be fully prepared before the engineer arrives. If the site is not ready, the installation will not proceed, no refund will be given for the failed visit, and an additional admin fee will apply for rescheduling.

Any installation carried out by the customer or a non-approved engineer may void the warranty. We strongly recommend using our approved engineers.

12) Installation Requirements

Surface

The surface must be strong enough to support the weight of the equipment.

Measurements

The machine must fit the intended space with adequate clearance as required.

Power

Correct power supply must be available within 0.5 metres of the installation location with a clear route.

The engineers will not make any modifications to your property. It is your responsibility to ensure all requirements are met before the engineer arrives. If requirements are not satisfied, the installation cannot proceed and must be rebooked at your expense.

15) Payments

We accept a range of payment methods through secure merchant providers, including major credit/debit cards via Shopify Payments, PayPal, and others. Payment security is handled by these third-party providers.

Ownership of goods remains with Auros Coffee Ltd T/A Zilva Coffee Co. until payment has been received in full. If payment is not completed, we reserve the right to recover the goods or pursue payment through appropriate channels, including third-party collection services or legal action if necessary.

16) Delivery

Full details of our delivery services are available on the Delivery page and are subject to change. We cannot be held liable if you are not present to accept delivery. Failed deliveries due to absence may result in up to three redelivery attempts or a collection arrangement, all at additional cost where applicable.

If an order is returned to us due to unsuccessful delivery, we can arrange redelivery at your expense or issue a refund minus the original delivery and return shipping costs incurred.

You are responsible for inspecting goods upon delivery and notifying both the courier and us immediately of any damage. Claims for transit damage will not be accepted if not reported at the time of delivery.

It is your responsibility to report any non-delivery within 48 hours of notification. Failure to do so may result in the order being considered delivered.

Trade customers are subject to additional or amended terms due to the B2B nature of the relationship.
